FOUNDATION WHEELS

Foundation wheels are created by HD truck owners for HD truck owners. Our flagship wheel, the 395 HD, is specifically designed from the ground up for 8 lug RAM, Ford and GM trucks and offers high load capacity, flow formed construction, removable trim rings, vehicle specific fitment, SAE J2530 4,500lbs load rating with 37s, built in bead retention and more. Nobody offered the features we wanted at a reasonable price, so we decided to do it ourselves. 

WHAT IS FLOW FORMED?

Think of Flow Formed as an affordable Forged wheel. The name "Flow Formed" refers to a process by which the barrel of the wheel is compressed and heated to align the aluminum structure. The result is a barrel that's lighter, stronger, and more resistant to deformation than a normal cast wheel- at a fraction of the price of a Forged wheel. This gives the Foundation 395 HD wheel a massive SAE J2530 load rating of 4,500lbs per wheel with a 37" tire. Most other wheels are rated with a stock tire, and we are not aware of any other off road wheel that has gone through the SAE J2530 rating process, which you can read more about here.

It's exactly what you need for heavy duty trucks that are towing and seeing high stress applications, but we do it at a low weight of just 30lbs while other similar options are close to 40lbs per wheel. 

ENDLESS CUSTOMIZATION

One of the major goals with the 395 HD was to ensure it could look good on any year truck today, tomorrow, and 20 years from now. That led us to a timeless 8 spoke design, but also to customizable features like the removable rings, differnet hardware colors, and multiple cap options. The result is a wheel that can look classic or modern, and fit any build color scheme or style. It's safe to say the 395 HD is the most customizable wheel in this price point.

BEAD RETENTION

All of our wheels have bead retention built in, so you don't have to worry about losing a tire at low pressures off road, or deal with the hassles of a true bead lock on the street.
